Restaurant
The complete renovation will increase the number of on-site restaurants from three to four. Le Touessrok will also continue to offer the Sega Bar from which guests can enjoy cocktails, exotic drinks and those world-famous Mauritian rums. The four restaurants are as follows:
•Kushi – This Japanese-themed restaurant is one of the new arrivals to Le Touessrok. Kushi features eclectic Japanese cuisine at tables outfitted with yakiniku grills for personalised food preparation. Be sure to try the sushi when you dine here. The ambience is chic and stylish for the most up-scale of tastes.
•Le Bazar – As the name suggests, Le Bazar is a themed Asian restaurant offering the look and feel of an open and bustling marketplace. The restaurant features both Asian and international cuisine and includes a number of show kitchens where guests can interact with chefs preparing their meals.
•Republik Beach Club & Grill – The former Barlens restaurant becomes the Republik Beach Club & Grill with the completed renovation. The Republik offers beachside dining for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a decidedly Caribbean feel. Enjoy barbecued meats and tequilas as you dine at communal tables with live reggae music playing in the background.
•Safran – Safran is the only hotel restaurant to return after renovation. This poolside venue offers a very contemporary Indian environment that includes an open kitchen and a single menu with 15 different plates each evening. Recipes feature Indian staples including breads, curries, rice, and tandoori; specialities such as lamb and lobster are also available on request. Safran is open for dinner only.
