Rooms
The hotel is unique in that it is not small enough to be considered a boutique property yet not nearly as large as some of the better-known chain hotels. It is just the right size for a peaceful and relaxing holiday in the midst of incredible tropical surroundings. Rooms and suites are offered in several different categories including Superior Rooms, Deluxe Rooms, and Ocean Front Deluxe Rooms.
As previously mentioned, the décor and atmosphere here is unquestionably modern. Rooms feature clean lines, minimalist design, and two-tone colour schemes with plenty of white. Although this may not sound appealing at first, the colour schemes are incredibly dramatic against the backdrop of the ocean or beautiful gardens just outside patio doors. There is just enough colour in the rooms to keep guests interested.
Room amenities include private bathroom, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, flat screen TV with cable service, free Wi-Fi, in-room safe, minibar, coffee and tea maker, free bottled water, and balcony or terrace.

Restaurant
As a smaller hotel, Poste Lafayette offers just three restaurants for your dining pleasure. A free complimentary breakfast is available to all guests throughout their stay. Guests are also just minutes from Roches Noires and a number of other local communities where off-site dining can be enjoyed. Your options on-site are as follows:
•Café Nautilus – Café Nautilus is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The menu here features international cuisine with flavours from all over the world. Enjoy a tasty meal with breathtaking views of the ocean. Al fresco dining is available, weather permitting.
•Phi – Interested in dining on the beach? Phi is the hotel's beachfront restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. A breakfast buffet awaits you in the morning while lunch and dinner are geared more toward Mediterranean cuisine. Evening meals are focused mainly on traditional Italian fare.
•Aqua 180 – Aqua 180 is a very chic and upscale restaurant that screams modern dining. From the bold décor to the overall ambience of the space, you will enjoy a dining experience unlike anything else in Mauritius. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and features a variety of flavours throughout the week.
•Room Service – For those times when you just do not feel like dining in a resort restaurant, you can take advantage of room service offered at limited times throughout the day.
