Constructed in 1804, is part of the historic Garrison Area of Barbados and was originally the Rum Store for the British Regiment. The Garrison, its history and surrounding buildings, make up one of the finest examples of a military Garrison in the Western Hemisphere. Today the property is possibly the smallest all-inclusive hotel in the world, renowned for its excellent local meals. It houses twenty five elegantly restored and refurbished air-conditioned guest rooms, each with a private bathroom, kingsize or queensize bed and personal safe. The hotel is built around a courtyard which is ideal for cocktail parties and wedding receptions, and features Barracks Restaurant and a meeting facility which can accommodate up to 200 persons.
