Restaurant
Dining at Sofitel L’Imperial centres on the tradition of fine French dining at all five resort restaurants. The cuisine varies from French to local Mauritian to Asian, with a particular focus on locally sourced ingredients. A complimentary breakfast is served daily at the hotel's main restaurant. Your choices are:
•Ravinala – The main restaurant at Sofitel L’Imperial, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. An international breakfast buffet awaits you every morning while a relaxed buffet lunch offers the perfect mid-day meal. Buffet dinners feature Mauritian, French, Italian, and Indian dishes perfectly complemented by an extensive wine list.
•Ming Court – This restaurant is everything its name suggests: an authentic Asian restaurant at the heart of the resort near the pool. Feast on authentic Chinese and Japanese cuisine prepared using local Mauritian ingredients.
•Jacaranda – Enjoy sumptuous seafood for lunch and dinner at Jacaranda. Whether you choose lobster or one of the many local Mauritian favourites, you will be treated to a memorable experience at the edge of the sand.
•Teppanyaki – A dinner-only restaurant offering authentic Japanese cuisine Monday through Saturday. Here the presentation is as impressive as the food. Enjoy the show as your chefs create culinary masterpieces right before your eyes.
•Tamassa Beach – Tamassa Beach is a laid-back restaurant at the water's edge serving lunch daily. Specialties here are fresh seafood and grilled meats prepared to order. Enjoy Mauritian specialties such as smoked fish or palm heart salad; a children's menu is available.
