The resort of Paguera is on the south west coast of Majorca. It offers a choice of 3 beaches - Playa Palmira, Playa Tora and Playa La Romana - linked by a pedestrian promenade which runs the length of the resort and behind which the main shops and bars are to be found. Originally a tiny fishing village, Paguera is now a modern tourist resort with its own micro-climate which offers the best temperatures during Majorca's winter months.
The Hotel Maria Dolores is in a slightly elevated position, in a relatively quiet area about 300 metres from the wide sandy beach and even closer to the main boulevard and resort centre with its wide range of shops, bars and restaurants. This is a smaller, friendly hotel with only 66 rooms and is more likely to appeal to couples.
